Welcome to Michigan

With great sadness we have decided to retire from breeding. We
currently have our last litter due in Feb. Once all are placed in
new forever homes this website will be shut down. We hope you
have found information that was helpful to you.
We've enjoyed the experience, and have loved having all our dachshunds, but the time has come
for us to retire from breeding. We've debated this decision for several months, it isn't easy.  Of
course we will keep a couple, and I've removed them from the website to keep it easy for those
looking for a new pet not to get confused.  Our reasons are our own, so please don't ask. This is
hard for us, but it's time.

Our Color/Pattern pages will show you the different types of dachshunds there are in all coat types
(smooth, wire, and long). If you want to see what a
Sable or Isabella dachshund looks like, you'll see
some. There is also a page with
abbreviations that you may have wondered about when looking at
pedigrees. All the registries I could find in the world are listed, a tiny bit about dachshund genetics,
and some possible
health issues. Tips for 1st time puppy owners, or someone who just wants advice
on raising a puppy, and
housebreatking tips also. If you would like to look up your dachshunds
ancestry, I've added some
pedigree database links. Have a look around, there's plenty to see!
We live in North East Lower
Michigan.
